Return and refund information for parts, equipment, engines, and tractors.
Central Tractors wants every order to arrive correctly and perform as expected. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled for tractors, used tractors, tractor equipment, truck engines, and truck spare parts such as gearboxes. Product-specific return eligibility, any restocking charges, and non-returnable conditions are confirmed before a return is approved.
Before you request a return
Part compatibility can depend on model variant, chassis number, engine code, and fitment details. If you are unsure about compatibility, contact our team before ordering or installing the item. Confirming details early helps avoid delays, incorrect orders, and unnecessary shipping costs.
Eligibility for returns
Eligible returns are assessed by product category and condition. Items must be unused, uninstalled, in resalable condition, and returned with original packaging, accessories, manuals, seals, and labels where applicable.
- Standard-stock spare parts and tractor equipment: return request within 7 days of delivery
- Electrical items, sensors, and sealed components: eligibility may be limited once packaging is opened
- Engines, gearboxes, and heavy parts: assessed case by case and must not be installed, opened, dismantled, altered, or repaired
- Crates, pallets, and protective packaging for heavy items must be kept for return assessment
Tractors and used tractors
Returns for tractors and used tractors are handled case by case because of inspection, transport, condition, and acceptance requirements. Once a tractor has been delivered and accepted, a return is generally not available unless there is a written agreement or a verified issue covered by an applicable warranty term.
Used tractors are sold with their own condition profile. Normal wear, cosmetic marks, and age-related performance are not grounds for return.
Non-returnable items
- Items that show signs of installation, use, welding, grinding, modification, or repair attempts
- Items damaged by incorrect installation, misuse, or poor maintenance
- Custom-ordered or specially sourced items
- Opened consumables such as oils, grease, filters, and fluids
- Items returned without authorization or outside the approved return period
Return reasons and outcomes
- Wrong item supplied by Central Tractors: replacement or refund may be offered after verification
- Damaged in transit: report promptly with photos and keep packaging for freight review
- Customer ordered the wrong item: return may be accepted if unused and resalable, with return freight normally for the customer?s account
Any original shipping charges may be non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or an approved transit-damage claim.
How to request a return
- Send a return request with your order number, purchase date, product name, quantity, and reason for return
- Include photos of the item and packaging, plus part numbers and vehicle or tractor details where fitment matters
- Wait for return authorization before sending anything back
- Pack the item securely using suitable protective packaging, pallets, or crates where required
Unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed. Damage caused by poor return packaging can affect return approval or refund value.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method unless another method is agreed in writing. Refunds are processed after the returned item is received and inspected to confirm the correct item was returned in approved condition with all included parts and packaging.

- All included parts, manuals, and packaging must be present
- Approved refunds are typically processed within 7 to 14 business days after inspection
Payment-provider timing can affect when the funds appear in the customer account.
Partial refunds
- Missing or damaged packaging
- Handling marks that reduce resale value
- Missing components or documentation
- Freight damage caused by inadequate return packing
Where partial refunds or restocking charges apply, the basis for the deduction will be confirmed during return assessment.
Exchanges
Exchanges may be offered when replacement stock is available and compatibility is confirmed. Shipping costs, handling fees, or any price difference between the original and replacement item may apply.
Warranty and returns are different
A warranty claim addresses a fault that occurs under correct use. A return is an order correction or approved return request. If you believe a part failed under normal operating conditions, contact us for warranty steps and the documentation required for assessment.
